Asafetida

The asafetida is one of the strangest and strongest of all spices.

Asafoetida Hing is a spice used in Indian food like dals. Use Hing sparingly. Asafoetida hing should be gently sauted in oil or ghee. Combined with mustard seeds, the mix is fried and added over lentil and other dishes to add flavour.
